Acars in 737 800/900 documentation

I read in the fourm that acars is sort of working in this product and I notice the fmc will let me select it, my question is this , is there any documentation in the acars? the manual that came with the product and the pdfs I have all say this is inoperative not modeled. but it apper to be doing somthing.

Hi,for the time being, the ACARS autolog the block time out/in and take off/landing time.
