Quick 1900C question............

Recommended Posts

I am considering purchasing the 1900C as I have enjoyed the 1900D for quite a while now. I was just wondering if the 1900C has working windshield wipers? I noticed how it was stated that there is a bunch of refinements and whatnot over the 1900D and wanted to know if this was one of them.I must admit, I almost feel bad for asking about a trivial feature considering the model is such an amazing deal! If the windshield wipers are not a feature of the model is it possible to add it later in an update or has the 1900C development "ran it's course" so to speak? Thanks and keep up the great work PMDG!:)

If they work, I haven't been able to figure out how to make it happen. I would say I am 95% sure they do not work. That being said, I still recommend the 1900C. I fly it almost exclusively over the D now, and the instrument panel is a significant improvement over the King Air gauges on the D. Plus the cargo flights are a lot of fun!-stefan

Nope, sorry! They just sit right there and laugh at you... Oh well, at least there are rain effects. Maybe in an update? I love the feeling of windshield wipers going and the sound when it rains, it makes it feel so realistic.

I'd still recommend this awesome bird - ESPECIALLY if you like commuter cargo hauls or a few more options for passenger hauls.Trust me she is well worth it. I am in the process of painting a series of this aircraft and the ATR-72 from Flight1 for Spectrum Intl. as we speak.

I recommend it too! I've spent a lot of time flying it and can say it is well worth the purchase price.KP

Alaska Central Expresshttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/601464/L/ Frontier Flying Servicehttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/660979/L/ Pacific Coastal Aviationhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/664875/L/ Northern Thunderbirdhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/694690/L/Northrop Grumman Systems Corp.http://www.airliners.net/open.file/760856/L/ Corporate Air Cargohttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/727160/L/ I'm freaking AWFUL at repainting aircraft...otherwise I'd try my hand at some of these...Oh yeah, and if anyone is still repainting the 1900Ds, Big Sky Airlines out of Billings, MT is operating them now.http://www.airliners.net/open.file/822546/L/ Cheers,Mark

If you were speaking to me, I meant just Spectrum Intl, the VA I am a member of.However that Frontier Flying Service looks cool and I might try to attempt her in the near future.

I have been waiting for ages for someone to do this one... It should be easy for someone who can paint. No fancy paint job, off white, and a dark grey underbelley, some text and the logo on the tail.Anyone know if it has been done yet>?http://www.captainsim.com/user/dl/c130/c130-testpilot.gif
