Easy mate...just saw this post for the first time. But most likely it will have body gear steering.

I think the POSKY models have it ... so no reason PMDG should not!- Neeraj.

Its not just the model I'm interested in - but will the aircraft also turn faster with body steering enabled? Also if you lose the hyd's will you see an effect in steering capability?

Gents - Please remember that FS modelling of ground handling is poor at best. Friction is almost non-existent. You will most likely not see any difference in behaviour with modelled main gear steering. Remember the times without rotating nose wheels? The aircraft were still turnable in FS though. The main gear steering kicks in if nose wheel is turned more than 20

Hi all,You do not make 90 degree turns greater than 10 knots in the 747 when entering or exiting taxiways. If I remember correctly, the boggie wheel steering turns 13 degrees in the opposite direction to the nosewheel to allow for tighter turns around taxiways. Ken.
