FMC message: Not found in database

Recommended Posts

I had to uninstall/reinstall FS2004 however it was not a complete uninstall. I did not delete any saved files. Now, when I go to program the FMC on the 737, I get the message, "Not found in database" when entering in airport and waypoints.Do I need to completely uninstall the PMDG 737 and then reinstall it?What am I missing?Thank you!Mike

There is no such thing as a partial uninstall, if you uninstall FS then make sure to manually remove the FS9 main (WHOLE folder) through windows explorer and everything in it. Plus one cannot expect an add-on to work after uninstalling FS. The AIRAC is not a part of this sim per se, in other words, you need to download NAVAID stuff and install that for it to appear in the FS. What I would do? Try installing the latest Airac cycle and DELETE any previous saved PMDG senarios. If that fails then follow my first advice and start fresh.
Randy J. Smith
Had the same problem. Reinstalling the 737NG package will fix it. No need to uninstall.Gerry

You're right Randy. I thought I by keeping my saved files, etc., that I would save time by not having to reload all my payware. It turns out I am having to reload it all anyway. Good advice;-)
