Gents - I agree with Randy. We know there are faults on this aircraft. We are here to find them. I don't mind people trying to point out my own errors though. I'm experienced enough to see past that and I do have more important things going on in my life to be upset over it. ;-)That said as a member of the PMDG test pilot crew we do have a carte blanche to pretty much set-up any possible situation/combination and try it. That's why they pay the test pilots the big bucks!! :-xxrotflmao This machine is supposed to work not only during normal procedures but also when we, the users, are abusing this aircraft setting it up incorrectly and handeling it roughly. To find those non-normal situations is IMO a crucial part of beta testing. That's my opinion though. Other beta testers may think differently. So to be on the safe side you can always PM us about things you see that you think needs attention. :-)Back on the saddle again...

Sorry About ThatIt will not happen again and I did not get your point about CAT approaches what I am talking about is autoland in any weather condition and radioaltimeter minimums setting according to the original post who thought that 200 setting was wrong and is not.Mauricio Villada Tampa Cargo Captain

We do perform autolands on CAT I runways...The weather just has to be "legal", but other than that its the skipper's call to autoland or make it manual.Adrian

Hey Adrian,Perhaps Mats selected CLB thrust limit on final? Also, should you not dial in Vref for an autoland rather than the standard Vref+5 ?Also, is there any reason for using flap25 rather than flap30 ?Cheers,PaulREQUEST : Can we see a screenshot of a limiting 25 Knot Crosswind Autoland ? Could you show the shots at around flare height so we can see the rudder kick in? Thanks! :-)

>I knew someone would comment on that! :(>>I had a nice 10 knot crosswind at 3000 feet but shifted during>final to an 8 knot tailwind. Still within limits though...>;-)>>Cheers,Hi Mats,Within 2 kts I believe as the 'Max tailwind, autoland' speed cannot exceed 10 kts....Regards & thanks for the pic's. They are beautiful.Regards, jack

Paul et al,No I never deliberately selected CLB and I think the reference thrust limit should change to GA either when flaps are out of UP or glideslope is captured. Good catch! :-)Yeah should probably have dialed VREF instead of VREF+5. The A/T should take care of any discrepancies. I think VREF should be dialed any time A/T is used even if A/P is disengaged.Reason for using flaps 25 was my own decision. I was lightly loaded and had a long runway to use so no need to increase the fuel bill or annoy the neighbours. :-)Cheers,

I guess we are all Beta Testers ! :-lolBTW - On the PFD should the compass rose numbers not align like the ND, if you know what I mean ? I don't know if fixing this would hurt frame rates at all.Regards,Paul

Scott,I am using Ultimate Terrain Canada and the default CYYZ (Don't dare to load the SimFlyers CYYZ). And you are right their 3D street lighting is simply stunning. Cheers,
