>ORD-SFO with UAL maybe?? i think they fly SFO-ORD to not sure>tho.>They did, I flew ORD-SFO in July of 2002. My wife and I were on the waiting list for Business Class and finally after waiting patiently, we were told they 'forgot' about us. Before I could say anything, the agent gave us 2 First Class seats! Quite nice, with individual GPS units and movies etc...For those of you who fly United, I was monitoring Channel 9 (ATC) the whole time, but after imbibing on too many malted beverages, I fell asleep until our arrival..-Mike Patel

>Hi Christopher,>>Where are you doing flight training in CO?>>Bruce (my sig will tell you why I'm asking :) ).>>Pueblo, Colorado, at Flower Aviation currently, but it is looking like I am going to move to Steel City Aviation -- they just seem nicer there. Right now I only have 4 hours in and have not logged a real hour in almost a year. I just got new employment and enrolled at PCC down here. Now according to the Financial Aid Dept., it looks as if I will have full coverage with the Pell Grant with enough to get a ncie refund. Also, my employer provides tuition assistance as well, so that will create an even larger cushion with the Pell. I plan to take my pell Grant extra and buy enough blocks in time at the FBO to not have to worry about cash here and there -- just finding the time to get the hours for the blocks. Those first 4 hours were in a C150F -- however both FBO's have switched to using C172's, so I will be a little better off now I believe when i go back to training on a regular basis. Since I have not flown in so long and only have 4 hours, I plan to basically request my instructor starts over so I can review. I remember pretty much everything I learned, but my motto is "never too safe", and I plan to be one of the most careful and safety conscientious pilots out there. Even in Flight Simulator with the DEFAULT C172 (a well as Flight1's Cardinal) I am a religious user of checklists and procedure.I bought King School's Private Course, then it got lost in a house fire. I had taken all of the lessons and was JUST egtting ready to take the test for them. I called them a while back and they will replace the course for half price, so I am happy there.According to my girlfriend who lives with me, my room looks like an FBO in itself **laughs**Anyway I must get off here and get to work. I hope that answered your question. BTW I was just living up there in Denver not that long ago. Wonderful place. I try to make it up there from time to time to visit friends. Email me at cndittmar@guildofdarkhaven.org if you ever want to chat about the world in the air **smiles**

Thanks Christopher. I used the King Schools material for my instrument rating, they have an excellent training course, with practical segments as well as all the theory. My entire condo looks like an FBO!- my wife thinks so too :)I live in Boulder. Good luck with your private. The secret is persistent and constant training. Bruce.

What area in Denver do you live in, Bob?I'm in Boulder, we do get some SFO departures this far north (if they are using the 34's for a west departure).Thanks- Bruce.

Bruce,I live in Westminster, off 104th and Federal. I can see Jeffco from my deck. I too was a little surprised when I saw the 744 come over my house, on its way to SFO. It is pretty low if they use 25 for TO.I am about to take my 738 out of gate B29 at DIA to KSNA, got to get the "kids" to Disney Land. (grin)Bob
