Hello,I NEED ANYONES HELP!!! I have been tryin to fly online with VATSIM for months and I cant ever get it to work with my FS9. I know im doing somthin wrong, the closest I have come was I could hear other people at one time but that is it, ANYONE if you can help me get up and flying I will be sooo thankful.

Hi, this is a PMDG forum you've asked the question in and not really for here but I'll give you a couple of tips anyway (cos I'm a friendly guy!!)It's a big challenge if there are lots of controllers on line when you want to fly, sometimes there's no-one around and you may as well use FS9s ATC (heaven forbid!!)You'll need 2 bits of software (plus FS and PMDG aircraft)1. Squawkbox 3 (with a vatsim registration)2. Either servinfo or whazup. (I use servinfo)Run servinfo and find where the action is, then plan a flight around that area.When you have read the Squawkbox 3 user guide http://squawkbox.ca/doc/start/quickstart.php from front to back and have it setup including a full speaker/microphone setup you just start FS and run SB3 enter your flight plan details and connect.Now all you have to do is remember the order you have to speak to people and what you have to say.You might find it more useful to search for your answers in the SB3 forum athttp://squawkbox.ca/forum/Hope this helps?Glen

Take a look at the following documentation, should answer all of your questions concerning how to connect the NG on-line. It was written for the older version of SB, but should work for SB3.
