Hi there. when i watch a b747 landing in videos on the web, i notice that on landing the forward flaps next to the engines move back to their normal resting place when the reverse thrust is engaged. will this be modeled on the PMDG 747?thanksR.King

Try a search. I know this question has come up before and I seem to recall the answer being yes. But don't quote me, shout at me, praise me, sue me or kiss me if I'm right/wrong about that.

While talking about flaps, if there was to be a fault with them, does the eicas display alter to show these faults?

>While talking about flaps, if there was to be a fault with>them, does the eicas display alter to show these faults? There are 4 EICAS messages for the flaps;FLAP RELIEF - Flap load relief system operating.FLAPS CONTROL - Flap control units inoperative, orAlternate Flaps Arm switch in ALTN.FLAPS DRIVE - One or more flap groups have failed todrive in secondary mode, or an asymmetry condition detected.FLAPS PRIMARY - One or more flap groups operating insecondary control mode.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
