Yes, as did the 737NG series. You didn't know?

Nope Lefteris, I did not know you could program such things as, for example; "climb straight ahead to 3000feet then turn left onto north" say. Thanks,Paul

>Nope Lefteris, I did not know you could program such thingsVector waypoints .. are these otherwise called "conditional waypoints"? Conditional waypoints can not be manually entered by a pilot - they can only be loaded as part of a procedure (for example a STAR).Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_beta_member.jpg

Things like heading to distance/altitude that sort of thing. They're not uncommon when flying a SID so it would be nice to have them. I never knew the PMDG737 had them; I know the amazing ***767 does. :-)-Paul

The LDS is misleading you a bit - the pilot cannot enter those into the real FMC manually, the codes LDS has like .cha .vec etc are shortcuts so that you can do that. In PMDG's system they have to be coded into the SIDSTAR file as they would be in real life. This is as simple as writing up something like this: (for KPHX's BUCKEYE TWO)

SID BXK2 NAVAID BXK	RNW 07L HDG 078 UNTIL 1550 HDG 075 UNTIL 4 FROM NAVAID PXR HDG 100 VECTORS	RNW 07R HDG 078 UNTIL 1550 HDG 070 UNTIL 4 FROM NAVAID PXR HDG 100 VECTORS	RNW 08 HDG 080 UNTIL 1550 HDG 080 UNTIL 4 FROM NAVAID PXR HDG 100 VECTORS	RNW 25L RNW 25R RNW 26 HDG 258 UNTIL 1550 HDG 240 UNTIL 13 FROM NAVAID PXR HDG 280 INTERCEPT RADIAL 077 FROM NAVAID BXK TRANSITION BLH NAVAID BLH TRANSITION PKE NAVAID PKE TRANSITION PMD NAVAID CURIV NAVAID DECAS NAVAID PMD TRANSITION PSP NAVAID CURIV NAVAID DECAS NAVAID PSP

In those top sections you've got the different conditionals per the Jepp charts for each runway. Runway heading till 1550, then a heading until a DME from the PXR VOR then some sort of VECTORS or radial INTC.Download Terry Yingling's tutorial for creating SIDSTAR files if you'd like to know how to do these yourself.
