Engine will not start

Recommended Posts

Guest Lucysjohn

Hi , can someone help me . I have PMDG 747-400 . When i choose a flight and the plane is positioned on the runway the engines cut out and will not re-start , despite using CTRL+E nothing happens just a warning sound and a flying tip message saying the engines are not started . Any ideas anyone ?.:-hmmm

Check the HT leads, if that fails then try WD40...:-)Richard Georgiou

CTRL+E is for FS9 default aircraft and not an advanced aircraft like the PMDG 747.I hate to say it but you'll have to read the manual - Try "Normal Procedures" in section 5. That should get you up and running. No short cuts here buddy.Anthony

Actually the engines should not be cutting when loading it by default. Can you please provide some more detail on your situation? Like, are you starting from a saved flight or did you load the cold and dark panel state.

Thank you Anthony & Marc for your replies . I have only just started MSFS & am finding my way . I have been loading my flights from the "create a flight " menu . I clicked on the PMDG menu tonight and changed the fuel load settings and since then things have been O.K The engines have worked !. I will read the manual Anthony . Thanks again.:-wave
