Question: Packs off for engine start

Recommended Posts

In the VS744 DVD the checklist calls for packs 2 and 3 to be off.Any particular reason why 2 and 3 as opposed to 1 and 2 or 1 and 3?Do other airlines have other practices in respect to this?

There is totaly no reason for this. Some Airlines switch of 2&3, some switch of 1&3 while some others maybe 1&2
