Has anyone tried the new Pratt & Whitney PW4056 sound set, for the Boeing 747-400, by Devyn Silverstein? Look for pw4056.zip at AVSIM. Just out today. It might be interesting to compare PMDG's sound set with this one.

Hi Mark,Have been using Devyn's old soundset and I think it's great except for one thing, that the sound of the APU doesn't stop even though the APU is not running. Tried his new set now and was hoping he might have fixed this but unfortunately not. Emailed him about this and he explained that's because only a few a/c where PMDG's is one of them has the functionality of the APU modelled.Anyway, I really like his soundset(s) and will continue using them until anything better comes along...that would be with the soundquality of Devyn's soundset but with the APU modelled.
