CH Pedals without CH (Gameport-type) Yoke?

Hi folks.I currently have a CH Flight Sim Yoke USB. I also have the older (Gameport) CH VPPro with Rudder Pedals. I have both connected, then disabled all but the rudder axis for the older system. This lets me use the USB yoke with the older pedals. I'm now having some problems (after a recent WindowsME OS reload). Specifically, no matter how many times I recalibrate, I cannot get right-rudder to fully deflect, even in the Control Panel joystick applet.I'd like to rule out the old yoke as a possible source of errors. Does anyone know if it's possible to run the pedals right into the gameport? I know it's not DIRECTLY possible, but perhaps there's a utility out there?Alternatively, if anyone has any suggestions I might try, I'd appreciate it. Between WinME and the very simple pedals, there isn't a lot I can do in the way of tweaking things! I tried CTFJ 3 but that was not helpful in solving the problem.It ain't no fun turnin' to the left when ya can't turn back to the right!--Tony

Hi Tony,I don't have the gameport version that you speak of so my input is probably nearly worthless, thus I can't answer your first question. But I did have similar problems with an older gameport stick. You mention "reloading" the OS. Was this simply an overwrite? Did you try re-installing the driver for the gamport equipment?

Hi Tony,Sorry, I dont have any suggestions to fix your problem. I have the same hardware setup that you do, however I am using WinXP and everything is fine. Also, there is a file in the AVSIM library called:corrected_chpedbrake.zipIt is a diagram that shows you how to make an adapter cable so your toe brakes work (through FSUIPC). Hi Greg. Thanks for the comments. Ayup, I definitely did a fresh reinstall on a newly-formatted hard drive (in fact, the reload was because I had to replace my failing old hard drive).The system worked fine before the reload, I've been sure to load all the correct drivers (which I had stored). So this one is a bit of a puzzler. I can usually troubleshoot a hardware problem (it's part of my job!!) but this one has me stumped!Mike, thanks for the pointer to the file.--Tony
