747-400 1.10 odd behaviours

Reinstalled the 747-400 1.02 from scratch and then the 1.10 update.Some strange behaviours with the 1.10:1) During takeoff (at about V1 speed) the 747 lifts the nose up by itself, without waiting for any action on the joystick (fuel 1/3, load 2/3, trim setting 6.0).2) Expecially in spot view, FS9 casually hangs for about 1 or two seconds (the image still). It's something like a long stutter and the frame rate continue to fluctuate very much.3) The engines sound seems to be more balanced (less loud in cockpit view and more in spot view) but frequently I hear crackling sounds (never heard in 1.02).Andrea

Many thanks Robert for your prompt answer. About stuttering I'll try to stop NAV2006, Diskeeper and other running services.Once installed, can I run the PMDG 747 without being connected to internet?Andrea

Hi Robert,About #1 and that the 747 lifts it nose by itself during t/o, I've noticed this too both before and after the patch. Just wanted to know if this is how the real a/c behaves? Belive I read somewhere that you should apply forward pressure on the yoke to keep the a/c steady on the rwy...maybe that is what's modelled here?

Many thanks Richard,during takeoff, in fact, I let the joystick neutral and start backward pressure only when the aircraft gets VR. I've remembered to press the FMC buttons to set flaps value and to confirm the three V speeds and the GC % to have the trim value to set. I will try to do as you suggest. Andrea

Just to add some support to this issue, I also have noticed this strange behaivior after installing the patch. the aircraft lifts off with no input from the joystick.ThanksMike

Actually I noticed this before the patch too so I don't think it's patch related - not in my case anyway but would be interesting to have someone from the dev team comment on this...whether it's realistic or something that needs to be fixed.
