Trim and speedbrakes

Recommended Posts

Guest JTH

How do you set trim, apply speedbrakes and arm speedbrakes for landing in the 744 without using the keyboard? What I mean is, I know the keyboard shortcuts but I want to actual flick a switch in the throttle panel or wherever these controls are just like a real pilot would. Thanks in advance, JTH :)

JTH,Please use your full name when posting to the PMDG forum according to PMDG forum guidelines clearly posted at the top of this forum. Thank you.To operate the speedbrake without a key command:Open the throttle console. You will see a lever.. .it is appropriately labeled "speedbrake".Using your mouse, click and hold on the lever, and move. The same method applies in the virtual cockpit: Look at speedbrake. Carefully navigate your mouse so the pointer is placed directly over the speedbrake handle. click, hold and move. I thought in PMDG's 747 you would have to Right-click the lever to move it, Click and drag was in the NG wasn't it?

Thanks for the replies. If I may ask, how do you set the trim without using the keyboard?
