FMC. Nav/Rad. Type in (or click appropriate buttons) ILS frequency/ILS course (bearing) in scratchpad. Click button on Left side of FMC associated with the ILS input and it should go in okay. Example is 109.8/023 for 109.8 MHz and 023

Make sure it is in the correct format and try again. Make sure the bearing has all 3 digits.

well, I don't use 4 for a bearing of 300... anyway, I just did a full flight, FMC tunes automatically, but I can't do any tuning manually... Thanx again anyway for the help :)

The B744 doens't have any possibilities to tune the NAV radio's in a hardware matter. Simply by the fact their are no fysical NAV radio panels. You ONLY can tune an NAV or ILS freq in the NAVRAD page of the CDU.To do that you need the ILS freq but also it course.for exemple 109.5/259Hope this helps you to understand.B. rgdsMichel

OK, how can I put this across, do you people read the replys thoroughly?, I mentioned, that when I try to manually tune via the FMS, it will not let me. I have been simming for years just as many of you, I know how to handle an FMS, I know how to type in something via the LSK's, but THIS particular FMS does not let me do it. On another developer's 777 CDU, doing it the "correct" way works, but no here, it just stays on PARK. Unless I do a full flight, in wich case everything is done automatically. In other words, manual tuning is impossible for me, and do not tell me that I have not done it right, because I have tryed lots of different things to no avail... I am thankfull for the help, but everything that you are telling me, I have already done. So I guess I could be talking about a bug??? EDIT; No, I can't talk about a bug, solved the problem, thanx guys for the help, honestly
