Disengaging A/P - A/T via yoke buttons

Recommended Posts

Guest raymondt

Hi all,I have been trying to configure a few buttons on my yoke to make them disengage the autopilot and autothrottle. For the most default fs aircraft i can get them to work, but not for the PMDG 73 and 74. Is there any way to make this work by using FSUIPC or maybe a keycommand via joytokey? Thanks in advance... Kind regards,Raymond

FSUIPC for sure. I've got mine mapped via the "Buttons" tab. You can get a joystick button to emulate a keyboard keystroke.

Hi,I know that it is possible via that way, but wich keystrokes are that? I have tried several things but it seems like PMDG is using different keystrokes then the default aircrafts. So thing i have tried doesn't work... Kind regards,Raymond

Within FS go to the PMDG menu and in there somewhere is the custom controls list with the associated key commands.Depending on the yoke you have it may come with software that allows you to map the button presses to the equivalent key strokes.

Mark,Can you supply a root directory and tree from which I might get these custom controls? I can't find it in FS9PMDG..jack
