Randy Smith owns a PFC yoke (you may want to ask him), so does many other simmers and they are generally full of praise for the quality. Saying that PFC products are of mediocre quality simply doesn't match reality and overwhelming body of evidence. Yep and I would have a very hard time using any plastic yoke after using the PFC mooney yoke. They certainly are worth the money.................Randy J. Michael, Randy,the Mooney Yoke from PFC is another product and not really comparable to the Jetliner Yoke. The one I'm talking about is standing on the floor, and with that part of the construction I'm not happy at all. The construction for the desktop mounted Yokes is completely different and it might very well be that those are indeed good quality! :)Regards,Markus

Hey there Captain Randazzo,I would like to just throw a suggestion in here for the Load manager and/or fuel options menue.I would like to be able to just type in the fuel amount I want. That slider drives me nuts and the 1/3, 2/3, full deal is more frustrating than anything else. Much of the time I would like 50% or 75%.Thanks for the hard work and I can't wait for this cargo bird! Can't say much for the floor mount 'jetliner yoke', but I can tell you that I returned a 'Cirrus Jet yoke' because I could move the yoke with my little finger. It had approx. 1" of the sloppy play before any tension was felt. This is very unrealistic on the real plane...(737-700), and for that reason, I sent it back the next day. Maybe I'll have better luck with the floor mounted yoke. Anybody have one of these, and does it exhibit the same characteristics as the 'Cirrus Jet' yoke??Just my opinion and observations on this product as it relates to (trying to replicate) the real thing in a half-way decent manner in relation to it's cost...Regards,jack

Gents-Not sure which segment you guys are referring to- so here's a few tips:1) In the load manager: The slider there is pretty easy to use. Just grab it and move....2) If you are talking about the fuel loading menu in the PMDG/Options menu- Have you tried using your mouse wheel to SCROLL the fuel quantity number? You can move it very rapidly as such....This of course is in the manual...We do not anticipate modifying it to allow typing...

Yes, indeed, it can be moved very easily, but I think their suggestions relates to the fact that the increments in which it moves are several hundred pounds at a time. So (just as example, I haven't checked the real numbers) if you are trying to load precisely 200,000 lbs of fuel, it usually is either 199,847 or 200,332, or something of sort. What I usually do is calculate my fuel load, save it in the external model as close as I can get it, and then when the plane is loaded, I use the PMDG menu to get it exactly right.Yes, it probably would have been nice to be able to type the weight right in within the external loader, but it is such a small detail that it has little bearing on anything but setup and preparation time.Cheers, and looking forward to the 744F!
