Sorry for coming here to get one, but if you have time, please read this post and tell me if i'm being dumb or am i understanding wrong.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...g_id=9962&page=I've been a PMDG simmer for a long time and love the products, i however recently bought the PSS B777 coz i wanted a 777 in my fleet.Unlike the PMDG FMC, you cannot enter two values for your vnav clb or des, eg. 320/.84 for that clb and say .84/320 for the descent, you can only enter one value, either an IAS OR a Mach #.NormanB, if you read this, i'm not going over your head, i'm just trying to get clarity, you and I just seem to be missing each others points. If i'm wrong, i'm fine with that, i want to know what its like on the real world a/c, just one number or two.ThanksJason

according to Bill Bulfer's "Big Boeing FMC User's Guide" page 113:".If clearance is to maintain 300kts in a climb do not enter 300kts without a M value." this would imply that both can be entered in the climb page.Ray

Jason,Both can be entered in both the Smith and the Honeywell FMS. The former installed on the 737-NG and the latter on the 744-400.It appears Norman at PSS does not know how this works.Cheers,
