Climbing to FL300 and over (?)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,I've chosen to fly on FL310....it was a very long flight. The optimum alt was on FL310 and the MAX was about FL360.but the Queen stopped to climb at FL280 !! or you can say it climbing in hard way (10ft/m) untilit stopped climbing completely at about 28050 ft.the questions:- WHY did it stop climbing? .. it's not the 1st time it being like that .... I never be able climb to FL350 ! why?- Are there any procedures to solve that ?- Is it depends on pressurization ?RegardsAbraham

Are you sure you properly initialized the weights in the FMC? It's possible that you were simply too heavy to climb above FL280. Also, if you were in VNAV this behavior could be explained by having a lower altitude constraint set on a subsequent waypoint.-Lee Barberhttp://home.nc.rr.com/uniuniunium/dvasig.jpg

This ensures being sticked to the ICAO rules.Might be more some kind of a thing you mentioned in your second assumption.
