Strange Loss of sound on PMDG 737NG

Featured Replies

HiEverything works fine up until the point that I send the ActiveSky weather to FS (either in offline mode, or via ActiveSky graphics)Once I send weather over to FS I lose all sounds associated with the switches inside this red box only and all sounds associated with those switches (eg if I hit the APU start switch, not only do I not hear the switch sound I don

Alan,That is a strange problem indeed. And I am wondering if AS really can be the culprit here. Have you tried to load AS WX before you load the NG? Start your flight with a Cessna, load AS WX and then change the aircraft to the NG.BTW, I have been beta testing all versions of the NG and AS together without ever having this problem.Hope it helps,

Mats,Makes no difference when weather is loaded. If I load weather first then there is no sound in the area I mentioned on the ohd panel of the NG when the NG is selected. If I load NG first it works perfect until I load AS weather into FS.I have used both these programs before together with no hitches either (approx 6flights). Last night I did a flight, no problems either and I have not changed anything since last night which is why I cannot understand this problem, it does seem very weird.Do you think it could be a FSUIPC conflict of some sort?ThanksAlan

Since SU 4 of AS6 I have not heard the take-off VS callouts. This may be a coincidence.I thought also I saw a posting for the 737NGs where it points to a utility to allows audio adjustment specific to them. I do not see that capability and could use a pointer to the info. I have both the 600/700 and 800/900. The V-Speeds are set. I also need to reduce engine noise in cruise and the FS mixer does not have to have any effect.
