Spoilers sound in flight...

Featured Replies

Hi there,...in The Queen... How can I get rid of it? Is there a way to "delete" this sound from the sim ? Not really realistic... I really wish it wasn't there... Thanx in advance.

Hi Fritz,Replace the file "PMDG_Spoiler.wav" in FS9/Sound/PMDG/747400 with a blank wav file and you won't hear the sound.

It sounds about the same in the 737 and 747. I have a good sound system on my computer. The first time I deployed the spoilers it scared the crap out of me. I thought the house was comming down. I haven't been on a 747 in a couple decades but I fly a 737 and that is a little much. Heck you feel the spoilers rumble more than you hear them. Someone said you could use window sound recorder or something like that to lower the volume of the wav. I wish I could give better information about that but maybe someone else knows what I am talking about better.
