3rd Party Sounds on the 747

Whenever I try to load the 747 with a sound set by a 3rd party developer such as Devyn Silverstein or Steven Persson, most of the time, the sounds don't even play, just the sounds of the instruments. How do I fix this?

Ron,Obviously we can't support 3rd party mods, but did you use the sound.cfg from the 3rd party set?

I aliased the sound.cfg to the folder where the sounds are, and they work on any other aircraft except the PMDG 744. I was wondering if it might be an issue with the aircraft.cfg or .air files that restrict the use of the 3rd party sounds.

hey Ron, I can confirm that the airfile or any PMDG file does not restrict the use of third party sounds since I use Emil Serafinos excellent a310 ge soundset with the Queen. Give me a buzz at my email address cfm56_7ab@yahoo.com. Ill have u using those soundsets in minutes.Gideon
