Hi Alan. It all depends on what you are looking for. VA's run the gammet in operations. Some allow you to do pretty much what you want to do, while others are quite structured in their approach. There is a VA page on Flightsim.com that will point in a starting direction. Determine what it is that you are looking for in a VA. Then look through the VA's to find one that most closely meets your needs. Remember that there is probably no VA that is a perfect match. If you join one that doesn't come close to meeting your needs then you will probably quit fairly quickly. Many, if not most, pilots fly for more than one VA. No VA that I am aware of restricts who you can fly for. If they do, then I wouldn't even consider it.Good luck in your search...

Take a look at We hav backing of United Airlines, ACARS, Wx when you choose your flight, Gate assisgnments, PAX load and weekly scheduled flights, STAR Alliance code share flights. Take a look at the site. You can fly anything from a B1900 up the 744's. Although, as in real life, what you fly depends on what you are rated for.Blue skiesKevinAssistant Domicile Manager DCAFOasstdcafo @ united - virtual. com (remove spaces to email)iad_fo_777-3copy.png

British Airways Virtual is one of, if not THE best VA i think around, they have route planning, excellent forums, pilot report facility that doesnt allow for cheating, and they are officially recognised by British Airways themselves which is very rare for a VA. You have to pass some exams to get into the VA but worth trying i think.http://www.bavirtual.co.uk/index1.htmRegardsBonfhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gifhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg

I have recently joined BAV and im glad i did! You dont need to buy any ACARS programs you get all the software for logging flights offline and online via VATSIM. You get an excellent database of BA routes and codeshare schedules. You get full real world flight plans and even a flight plan converter so you can save it as a PMDG FMC compatible file.
