FMC And ILS Tuning

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have searched the last twenty pages of this forum tring to find an answer to my question without success, so here goes. Today I was flying into Toronto Canada (CYYZ) and wanted to land using the ILS24R. The approach was in the FMC so I selected it on the approach page. I then pressed the NAV RAD button to see no ILS frequency, just ILS-MLS PARK. Why did it not tune the correct frequency? Is it possible to manually tune the it? I tried tuning manually and got INVALID ENTRY. Can anyone give me info or direct me to a link in this forum on this topic? Thanks, Paul

Paul-To manually tune- enter the frequency/inbound course to the ILS-MLS LSK. MSFS shows the ILS 23R (old data in MSFS, remember!) as:111.50 with an inbound course of 236.So you'd enter: 111.50/236 for example.I just tried it in the default MSFS CYYZ scenery and it pops up just fine....
