B737 and B747 problems!!

Recommended Posts

Guest stanley4199

I have recently purchased the B737-800/900, because I have B747-400 in my PC so I did follow the suggested installation way i.e un-install my B747-400 then install B737-800/900 and re-install the B747-400 both are CD version and I did not own a B737-600/700.Here are my problems: For B747-400-the cargo and upper deck door cannot open by using the key command (it work before with just the B747-400 alone) For B737-800/900-nothing shows about the B737 under PMDG drop down manual for example style...etc only show the B747-400 choice.please advise!! Thanks stan

Hi Stan,I read this post and have in the back of my mind, so I am not too sure so hope others will chip in here to confirm, that the 737-800/900 series will not work unless there is the 737-600/700 installed first. and as you don't own these then that may be why you are having problems, I am now confident i am correct as i took this quote from PMDG's site for the 737, not sure if this would be related to your 747 problem. Also I only have these comments regarding the download versions from PMDG's site not sure if all this is true for the CD versions as well, so hope others will contribute to this post.PMDG 737-800/900 is available for purchase and downloadPlease note- this product requires PMDG 737 The Next Generation to be purchased and installedHope this helpsJohn CallejaBAW352
