Where's the MD-11

Recommended Posts

Guest Ptroinks

Hi!I've been waiting for the MD-11 for quite a while now, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I don't want to nag and whine about it not being available yet, I'm sure there are plenty of good reasons for that, but I would appreciate it if anyone from PMDG would give us a progress report. A few new screenshots would be nice too ;). The screenshots on the MD-11 page at PMDG are well over a year old now. So pretty pretty please, with sugar and everything else that's sweet in this world on top, could we get an update?

OK, now I feel like...well, something I don't generally want to feel like. Just found the thread that answers all my questions. Sorry for wasting people's time (for those who have read this thread), and space on this forum.

Gents-I suspect you will begin to see more about the MD11 "soon."(Soon being defined by our legal department as "sometime between now and the day the product is released."):-)Seriously- we are almost to the point where we start showing you some things!

Golli-In fact- I just discussed this with Aerosoft tonight....Yes.... It will. Obviously it will be some time after it's release by download- since we generally wait some time before going to CD with all products.

Thanks for your reply Mr. Randazzo."Obviously it will be some time after it's release by download- since we generally wait some time before going to CD with all products."But just so we're on the same page, will it be boxed for FS9??As I've allways thought that PMDG was coding the MD-11 for FS9.It's just that I'm getting the wibe, that some company's/retailers who handle the CD versions of add-on's, are about to "jump ship" on FS9. "As FSX is only X months away". Even though a large portion (dare I say the vast majority) of the FS community has invested quite a lot in FS9 add-on's.I hope I'm wrong in asuming this though. And I also hope, that since Aerosoft has given the GO, on boxing the MD-11, it will also go ahead on boxing the precious 744 Freighter, for FS9.Thanks in advance.Golli.
