June 5, 200620 yr I am looking for the new SID/STARS file for LICC (Catania Fontanarossa) based on the new VOR/DME "CTF" to use with FMC of PMDG B737.Please help me!Thank you
June 5, 200620 yr The most current file in NAVData is 12-31-2003; and it doesn't have any approaches. Only 8 DPs and 3 STARs. If you have all the charts in electronic format, why not learn how to edit a SIDSTARS file yourself? It's not very difficult once you've done one, and I don't mind helping you out.I know there's a world outside Texas, but where is LICC? Dan Downs KCRP

Do I need a program to edit a SID/STARS myself? I've got all the charts in .pdf.Thank you!
June 5, 200620 yr No special program needed, any text editor. Wordpad works fine for the smaller one like yours, others are available that provide a line count handy for longer files.Terry Yingling has an excellent tutorial that I downloaded from PMDG with my original 737NG, also has edition 5 available at his web site planepath.com. The tutorial is really good... give it a try and let me know if you need help. After you have successfully updated the file, you can upload it to NAVData for others. That's be great.I would love to visit LICC!! I've been to Aviano, Vincenza and a few other spots up North but always loved the Southern food. Dan Downs KCRP
