737-800, Stick Shaker & Elevator Trim

Why does the stck shaker activate when the elevator trim is adjusted even when the plane is on the ground with parking brakes on?It is annoying and a pain when triming for a landing.

You mean that sound? I always thought it was the sound of the trim servos.. I got used to it I guess.

It's the noise the pedistal trim wheels make when they spin while trimming the stab. That that was real cool and the 737NG/800 made sure that I made nice touch downs even though I never flew a plane in my life. The real captain who was flying co-pilot was really impressed. Just goes to show what good simulation software can do.
