737-800 Landing gear failure options

Recommended Posts

After takeoff I raised the landing gear but the annunciator remained green for the LEFT main. I cycled the gear and the indication remained. I did a flyby past the tower (okay...I switched to spot view!) and was informed that my RIGHT main was fully extended.I checked the abnormal procedures list and this condition is not indicated. I looked for an alternate gear system (secondary hydraulic system) but could find no switch/control for that function. I checked the overhead panel and engine and electric pumps were all on.So...the question is; what are the options to deal with that situation...or any hydraulic system issue in the -800? Hi,had the same a couple of months ago - never again. I did not install ANY malfunctions, it just happened ! Probably a software bug, as I said it NEVER happened again.I just lowered the gear ( three green lights ) and made a overweight landing . . .Karl, Berlin
