Nosewheel deflection after landing

Recommended Posts

Guest KemoF15

During a fully coupled approach (both CMD engaged to ILS freq) and FD and A/T engaged, auto flare generally occurs at 30-50', touchdown is normal, throttles to idle, reversers deployed--deselect CMD, I will get at times my nosewheel deflecting 30-45 degrees to the left...and I can't figure out how to center it...other than applying counter controls...I cycle F/D off/on but it seems if I don't deselect CMD at main wheels touchdown I get the deflection. What am I missing?THanks in advanceKemoF15

Sounds like your joystick may be a bit noisy. Try doing a search on the forum and you will find a lot of information on this. Also I believe there is information on the PMDG Wiki concerning joystick setup.

Nosewheel on 737 isn't accurate, can't look at it and infer anything.
