Just looked and tried to find an answer, but didn't succeed. It seems that is has "park" on it, so I'd assume it has something to do with the parking break, but I couldn't find what it actually does. None of the info I have mentions pushing the button when setting the parking brake, it just says you push on the brakes, and pull back on the lever, no button pushing necessary.Maybe someone at PMDG knows the answer.

Correct, this "PARK" is just a light, no need to push it for setting the parking brake. You press the pedals, pull the lever back and release the pedals (yes we do have that sound in our MD-11 :-) ).Maybe the captain just wanted to make sure the light was on by tapping on it.Markus
