Pushback Gauge not working

Recommended Posts

Guest LAzerxxx

Hello all, I am trying to find out how to use the pushback control on my QOS. I have looked thru the entire forum and not found one thread on this subject. I guess I am the only one having this problem. Plus, I am still new to the payware a/c, not use to such realism and for me not being any kind of pilot or even having any kind of training in this field I feel kind of stupid sometimes. Wish there were more like me around my area (Conyers Ga, just 20 miles east of Atl) to help out. Anyway, am I doing something wrong? OR not doing something that needs to be done?http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg

Nameless,Why go to the forum when it's all in the manual? Chapter 0, page 34.Please sign your posts with your real name per the forum rules and for the fact it's nice to know who you are talking to. ;-)Hope it helps,

Mats,Thanks man! I was looking in the wrong part of the manual. I'm use to being able to look in an index to find what page things are on, not chapter by chapter. As complete and lengthy as the manual is it lacks that one thing.Anyway, I tried it out and I entered 200 and L90. it kept going and going and going, kinda like the Energizer Rabbit. Any take on that? As for my name, even though it is a forum rule I feel it can be an invasion on my privacy (even though I could give you a false name). Anyway here it is.Happy Flying, Hayden Lee LAffoonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg

Hi Hayden,>Anyway, I tried it out and I entered 200 and L90. it kept>going and going and going, kinda like the Energizer Rabbit.>Any take on that?Pushback distance is in meters. You just asked it to push you back about 650'. >As for my name, even though it is a forum rule I feel it can>be an invasion on my privacy (even though I could give you a>false name). Anyway here it is.Invasion of privacy is not an issue as this is not a true public forum and this is a rule everyone here knows and respects. We're all here to help each other but if you do find that this rule invades your privacy then you know what to do.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.sstsim.com/images/team/JR.jpgwww.SSTSIM.com

John, Thank you for the help. I was wondering if it was meters or feet, just wasn't sure. I've always used standard measurement, never metric, unless it was a tool for my mountain bike :-).And about my name...awwwww forget it it's just water under the bridge. I really have no problem with it.Happy Flying, Hayden Lee Laffoonhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpg http://www.captainsim.com/user/dl/c130/c130_captain.gifhttp://www.captainsim.com/user/dl/b722/727_01.JPG
