ILS text in 737 Primary Display always yellow and struck through

Recommended Posts

Hi all, can anyone please explain why the ILS text that gives the localizer ID and bearing and appears just below the left-hand annunciator in the Primary Display of my PMDG 737-800 is always yellow and struck through with a horizontal line? I've flown this aircraft a lot and I don't remember ever seeing it displayed differently.ThanksGeoff

Geoff,It will be white and normal once you have your two NAV radios tuned to the ILS freq and the MCP CRS window set to the ILS course as reported by the FMS.Hope it helps,

Ah, thanks Mats. I've been lazy lately and I've only been tuning NAV1 to the ILS freq because I've not been using Autoland. I'll tune both Nav radios in future.Geoff
