Autopilot problem - 747

Recommended Posts

Guest craigjjs

When I select Approach when the vertical and horizontal glideslope are active, the autopilot freezes it its existing condition and FS9 de-selects my controller. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the autopilot, but this does not help. The problem occurs on every flights and with or without FS2Crew.I did not have this problem in the past. I had to reinstall FS9 and the 747 and the problem has occured since. I have tried reinstalling the 747. I do NOT have this problem with the 737, with or without FS2Crew.Does anyone have any idea what might be happening?Thank you,Craig JJS

Craig did you make sure you removed all traces of the PMDG 747. Some files can remain and affect your new load.

Thank you.I uninstalled using the add/remove programs feature from the Windows XP control panel. Is there anything else I should do to reinstall the 747. I had installed the service upgrade and the sound upgrade.Craigjjs
