December 9, 200619 yr Available in either AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans or NavData.at libraries. Based on FAA NACO Digital Terminal Procedures published for Cycle 0612 (23Nov-21Dec). The Vectors-only departures (Mariner & Newark) are provided as published for use with ATC vectors and are enumerated for most departure routes based on actual ground tracks for use in lieu of vectors. All (turbojet) STARS are provided for use with either ATC vectors or with routes to primary landing runways. All approach procedures are included (includes 2 RNP approaches). The files include a copy of FAA Preferred Routes for flights originating at Newark. The SID/STAR charts are provided for assistance in selecting procedures. This is the first time I took a vectors-only departure procedure and added realistic routes from runway to departure fix, using view of actual traffic from flightaware, and I included how the departure fixes join airways and preferred route information in the SID Chart; I hope some find it adds realism to their KEWR departures. December 11, 200619 yr Another good one. Speaking of real life vectors, have you ever run across a site that webcasts real time ATC voice comms? Sometimes on a slow day, I'll sit in a cockpit with my laptop, tune-up my local arrival controller and use real ATC in my area instead of Vatsim (gotta remember to keep my mitts off the mic!) . . . but there's nothing like the challenge of a new airport to keep things interesting. (Still working on JFK. That's one serious airport.) Many thanks. Keep em comin'!
