Ideas on FSX Products

I was just watching a documetary on UAL 232 that crashed about 17 years ago. It got me thinking about the failures on the 747 but these could be used on all PMDG aircraft. One thought is to have the option to have a fan disk failure inflight. Either have a single blade shear off or a whole disk completely fly apart. One a more realistic note, perhaps an option to have failures occur at random could be done. I mean having a box checked saying random failures and have that stay in any flight. That way you really would never know whats coming. Then again, it would also be a good idea to have it generate failures in a way that would be random yet predictable in terms of severity. In other words. I would have one of the circuit breakers on an engine trip far more often than I would have an engine completely shear off the wing. (It happened once...only once.) Also, could you add in the option to have just one landing gear strut jam? And also have the possibility of a tire blow out.Aside from creating ways of completely destroying the aircraft (but sticking with landing gear), I notice that the tire pressure for every wheel is constant and the same as the other wheels. I just had another thought. What about a functioning interphone to communicate with the ground crew? You could call them up and ask them to connect the external power and external air along with anything else you usually ask for. Sir,Are you aware that at least some of your ideas already exist on the 744? Although there is not a specific failure for fan disk failure, there is a very detailed set of failures available that can be randomized and catagorized according to severity. That is, at the same time you can put in a high probability for minor issues, a low probability for serious problems.Andrew

FS2Crew and fspassengers is the closest your going to get to that with fs9 for FSX i guess anythings possible, i'm more concerned with not having a slide show when these heavy's get released. Rob.
