My FMC does not recognize where he is ! I press FMC- then position and the position is wrong I am on N51307Eoo3439 and he shows N47155E011210. I cannot click on Dep. or Arrival. It seems that I have been on the last position online. Any Idea what I can do to default this ?

kilo bravo,Please include your name when you post so we can properly reply to you.In reponse to your question, are you putting in the proper airport code for where your aircraft is currently located, for example: KSEA, and the upselecting it from the scratchpad into the reference airport left LSK in your FMC POS page?Kim

Initalizing the FMC locations doesn't happen automatically, in fact, I don't know of any reason to bother with because inertial reference is not simulated. I've gotten lazy I guess, I just start on the RTE page and set my destination and arrival ICAO codes and from there on the FMC knows what to do with the rest of the information that follows.
