Need alternate B737 for DF737 Panel...

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hello,I purchased the Dreamfleet DF737 but I think the exterior model is eating up frames. So that's why I am looking for an alternate B737 to go with the DF737 panel. Maybe somebody out there has some tips for me, I would be very thankfull. Regards Frank.By the way, I allready tried the AFG 737 and I am not really comfortable with it.

There's a merge program availible to merge the DF734 panel with the stock M$ 737. Not sure of an exact link, but it's probably somewhere around these forums. One thing though, if you use a different model, Text-O-Matic will NOT work. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer

I've had the best luck merging the DF panel with the Ariane 737-300 and 737-400. It's a much better combo. You have to work a little bit on the aircraft.cfg files to get a smooth marriage.Lee

Hi Lee, I was wondering if you could explain to me how to use an Ariane 737 with the Dreamfleet panel. If you could let me know, that would be great. I've tried to just copy over the panel information, and that works to a certain extent, but not completely. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.Gianluca

You need the DF/Ariane file that contains the aircraft.cfg and an air file. Email me if you need the file. All you do is just copy the panel and sounds folder from the DF 737 and paste it into the Ariane 737 folder overwrite the other panel and sounds folder. Then install the DF/Ariane files. Open up the aircraft.vfg and change the sim name =) Works great I have been using it for over a year no problems FMC and AP work great.John
