Question on graphics card

Recommended Posts

The 7600 is a much newer series than the 6600 series. The 7600 GT seems to get better reviews from the hardware experts.Jim Harnes

In your opinion or knowledge would you think if I purchase the nvidia 7600 ge this should make my fs9 perfect and smooth even though I have extra add ons such as ai traffic and very detailed airports, I especially want to have my cloud coverage and textures to the max using ASV6, thanks.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gif http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/ritz...tishAirways.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/ritzer82/untitled.jpg http://www.danasoft.com/sig/RAYEK82.jpg

Hi,A quick search for reviews of the PNY 7600 GS tend to indicate it is a good card and should be capable of running FS9 very well, the resolution of your monitor will have an effect on frame rates. The 7600 GS has the same architecture as the 7600 GT ,it has just been 'slowed down' by the manufacturer to make it easier to make/sell for less. If your monitor resolution is 1280x1024 or less then I don't think you will be disappointed. It has to be said that PCWorld do have you over a barrel, it is currently the only 7 series AGP card that they sell (judging by their website) - anything better is PCI express only.Phil McAlpine.

Hi I have just purchased the Nvidia 7600 GS video graphics card, although it has resolved some of the problems such as I can have detailed cloud textures and weather settings right to the max using ASV6 unfortunately at airports ai-traffic is still causing a problem where there is still stuttering and slow gameplay and also sometimes when atc sends a message to other airlines or myself the simulator freezes for a bit although this has improved then before having this new graphics card, can someone please recommend what settings I should have for my Nvidia, I also did plug in some wires that came with the graphics card inside my computer connecting to the computers battery pack in order to bring extra power to the graphics card and also what level shall I leave the framerate settings in fs9 as I currently have it on 30, thanks.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gif http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/ritz...tishAirways.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/ritzer82/untitled.jpg http://www.danasoft.com/sig/RAYEK82.jpg
