When to Change HDG to TRUE

I can't remember where the precedure is in the manual. I looked for about an hour and a half and I can't find where to switch the HDG from NORM to TRUE. All I know is that you do that in the extream north or south. I just don't remember the exact latitude. I'm over the Pacific now heading north. This may vary with different airlines, and I know that it varies between northern and souther latitudes. However, I have heard that Luftansa Cargo will change at 65 deg north

Thanks for your help. I have another problem though. Now that I'm in the polar regions, my magnetic headings and route is shifting all over the place. Logic would suggest to click on the link but that just gives me the file name, size, and a discription that says, 'no discription'. I don't have anything to open .rar file either. Aside from the instructions for polar operations, could you include some for downloading and opening the file as well?
