737 NG Homecockpit Building/Interfaces

Recommended Posts

Guest robfather

Hi Lefteris,There was a thread earlier this month and the question was raised about the possibility of PMDG providing an interface somewhat similar to PM for the 737 without giving away the farm re the engineering. Didn't hear if there was a result/reply from PMDG. As you are probably aware we cannot duplicate 100% of the systems using various interfaces like Key2Mouse, FSUIPC, Keyboard Encoders etc. we can only get about 70% so it would be great if we could have a set of offsets to work with to enable 100% funbctionality with our hardware switches etc.Look forward to your response.Rob

Rob,Don't hold your breath. AFAIK there are no plans to do what has been suggested. Search the forum for earlier answers to earlier questions. With that being said we still don't know what's being done for the new line of aircrafts being developed.Hope it helps,

Hello Rob-the 737NG for Flight Simulator X is being designed from scratch, as you know. As such, we are planning on expanding on interfacing capabilities but more on this once we're closer to release... I'm going to be scarce on details for now, only because there's still active development going on...

Is there any new news on this new 737 with regards to home cockpit builders? Or is it all still TOP SECRET?
