Anyone using download accelerators?

I am using a dial-up connection and was curious if anyone was using a file download accelerator software package. What package are you using? How much did it cost? Where can I get it? How fast will it download on a dial-up connection?Thanks for your suggestions.Airbus

hello,I use "Download accelerator plus" get it at www.speedbit.com I am also on a dial up connection and it does seem to speed up downloads a little but not alot. It also downloads at more stable speeds. The best solution is to get cable or dsl but at the moment I cant afford it :-(Andrew :-wave

I also use Download accelerator plus, i don't know if it is significantly faster but it also has a "resume" function if the connection does get broken you resume from whence you left off.Has anyone tested the accelerators?
