I was wondering why some virtual pilots are so concerned about having the most current Sids and Stars?As far as I know they are not defined in FSX. Enlighten me.Waldo

Waldo,A lot of serious simmers fly online with services like VATSIM where pilots and controllers do use real life procedures like these. It's also more than possible to fly SIDs and STARs in regular "single player" FS too - you just won't have ATC. I do this all the time - it's just about trying to fly more realistically really

Also is the fact that a variable number of waypoints are changed (added or deleted) in each new Airac cycle which is impacted by the new SIDs/STARs associated with the cycle.
