engine types

Recommended Posts

Hi allI have installed a British Airways 747-400 downloaded from the PMDG site. When I load it up I noticed that it is shows on the upper eiacas screen as having GE type engines even though it is a RR engined aircraft. The default aircraft also shows up in the sim with GE engines.Below is a part of the BA aircraft's config. I can't see why it would show up in the game with GE engines? Your input on this would be a great help. Thanks Tom[fltsim.6]title=747-400 British Airwayssim=B747-400model=RRpanel=sound=RRtexture=BAkb_checklists=PMDG747-400_CHECKatc_id_color=0xffffffffatc_id=G-BYGEatc_airline=Speedbirdatc_flight_number=744ui_manufacturer=Boeing-PMDGui_type=747-400 RR RB211 Enginesui_variation=British Airways

Tom,if you want RR specific engine displays you need to get the Freighter Add-On, that will give you RR engines even for PAX aircraft, plus with the latest version a dedicated RR sound.Regards,Markus
