If the FMC VNAV disconnects during the descent, is there a way to it to reconnect?I have the airspeed correct and the bug aligned according to the descent profile when I press VNAV, but it won't hook back up. One guy said I needed to cross a waypoint before I tried again, but that made no difference either. Once VNAV decouples, are you on the MCP the rest of the way down?Hawg

Depends on why it disconnected.Try this: Press the top LSB (the active route) on the LEGS page, press it again and the EXEC button should light, and click EXEC. Kinda like a "soft boot" for the FMC. Now you might get VNAV active.Unless you got a problem like unable next alt or speed out of range it should work.
