Which fixes are included in the FS9 updater?

Featured Replies

Hi, I am considering to buy the FSX Version but I intend to use the FS9 Version most of the time. Could you please post the mentioned README which include the updates? For example: are these fixes included: - EICAS Target N1 / Ref N1 indications removed when in REV mode- "Approaching Minimums" callout added - Reversers logic altered to prevent REV lockout when NAI active.- CDU Legs page - predicted Alt Improvements: Above / Below type (e.g. 6000A8000B) soft constraint both vertical flight path prediction and VNAV mode bug corrections and predictive improvements. Also UNABLE NEXT ALT message will appear in all cases referring to soft altitude constraints. - CDU N1 page - flight phase improvements: Regular thrust limit page (instead of TO limit page) will appear now below flap retraction altitude. - CDU Fix page - changes to RAD/DIS to be BRG/DIS - CDU Cruise page - change in step alt code: At 2R the last step altitude target would not appear when step climb was not possible. It does now above the NONE header. - FMC: Various small and large behavior corrections. Jan-Paul

Great news and thanks! A short question: is an installation also possible of the FS9 update without having FSX installed? :) best regards,Christian

Christian,At the moment, not it is not, but some of us are trying to sweet-talk PMDG into offering a solution...:-lol

Gents-we're having some internal conversations about this, but I'd like to alert you to the fact that we cannot keep working on the 747-400-related products forever - at some point, we need to release and move forward, or else you all are going to keep complaining that we release one product per millenium! We'll let you know what happens, just wanted to share this with everyone... (The bonus pack wasn't even planned on being included until one of us found that they had a week's down time to test with the older systems and ensure no regression problems).Best,
