I am getting ready to buy the 747-400x for fsx. Sorry, couldn't find the answer by searching the forum, but do I still need to tweak my fsx.cfg file as per the FAQ on the pmdg website? There have been quite a number of posts elsewhere that tweaking the .cfg file can now actually be counterproductive with sp2.Thanks,Morser

Last time I looked, the recommended tweaks were the same as SP2 defaults. You can do the comparison with fsinsider.com

Thanks for the reply, but not sure what you mean about comparing with fsinsider. The ones I was wondering if still necessary were the Fiber_Frame, DirtyRegion, and SmallPartsReject. No big deal, just wondered if pmdg was still recommending them with sp2.
