N1 limit

I am not able to enter oat/temp and T/R altitude on the FMC's N1 Limit page.How come? Any solution?Best Rob

Nobody from PMDG to react?It concerns the Thrust Limit page where under I a certain temperature it says invalid entry.Best Rob

Rob,Say aircraft type?The OAT entry is populated by the aircraft sensors. I assume you are talking about the entry for the assumed temperature for derating. For the 737 the engines are flat rated under 30

HiSorry to forget aircraft type. It is PMDG747. Under 15 degrees it says invalid entry.BestRob

Hi Rob,The Assumed Temperature value entered into the THRUST LIM page must be higher than the ambient temperature to have any meaning. The FMC will then automatically calculate the reduced take-off thrust required.Hope this helps,Cheers, Richard
