747-400 stabilizer trim

Recommended Posts

Hello,In many commercial jet airplanes, using the stabilizer trim moves the whole horizontal stabilizer of the airplane. I also see this in some FS aircraft. However, using the stab trim in PMDG 747-400, doesnt seem to have any animation in the exterior model. So my question is how does the trim work in 747-400? Which part of the horizontal stabilizer is supposed to move, if not the whole stabilizer itself?

Hyvaa huomenta,as you just suspected. The whole 744 horizontal stabilizer trimmed by pivoting on two rear spar hinges. Unfortunately it is not animated.terveiset, delcom

Hello,Nice Finnish you have! :) Anyway, thank you for the answer. Perhaps PMDG will add this animation to the exterior model in the future update.
